How to Use Context-based Drill-down in Clariti
When your team conversations span dozens of messages, attachments, and subtopics, finding one piece of information can feel like searching for a needle in a haystack. You scroll, you search, and still you lose context.
Clariti’s Context-based Drill-down eliminates that. It lets you filter, search, and dive deeper within conversations moving from a broad discussion to the exact detail you need, without losing track of the bigger picture.

- Use contextual search within a sub-conversation.

How-To: Drill Down from a Main Conversation
Start by narrowing focus within a large chain, perfect for projects with multiple discussion topics.
Steps:
- From the Conversations view, select a main conversation chain (e.g., Marketing Discussions).
- Click to expand and view all subjects in that conversation.
- Hover over all subjects eg: “Client Presentation” to preview related files or details.
- Click on the subject to drill down into that specific subject.
Tips: Use hover previews to access files instantly, keeping context close at hand.
How-To: Search Within a Sub-Conversation
Once inside a selected subject, you can filter results to find exactly what you need without sifting through unrelated topics.
Steps:
- Open the Search in Conversation bar at the top.
- Type your query (for example, SEMrush subscription).
- Clariti filters results by type Chats, Mails, or Files within that subject .
- Select the relevant result to view it in full context.
Tips: Searching within a subject keeps results highly relevant and saves time.
How-To: Jump to Details Using the Timeline
Once you’ve selected a result, Clariti automatically scrolls to that exact moment in the timeline.
Steps:
- After selecting your search result, view the Timeline panel on the right.
- Clariti highlights where your keyword appears in the conversation history.
- Instantly review or act on the information in context no scrolling required.
Tips: Keeps every action traceable, ensuring no details get lost in long conversations.
