How-To: Edit a Sent Message

Clariti allows you to make quick corrections to a message after it’s sent.

Steps:

  • Hover over your sent message in any chat
  • Click the dropdown arrow that appears
  • Select “Edit” from the menu
  • Modify your text in the edit pop-up
  • Click “Save” to update the message

How-To: Delete a Sent Message

Need to remove a message entirely? Clariti gives you control, with a clear audit trail.

Steps:

  • Hover over your sent message
  • Click the dropdown arrow and select the Delete icon
  • Confirm deletion when prompted
  • The message is immediately removed from the chat
  • You’ll see “You deleted this message” as a placeholder, while other participants will no longer see the original content
