How-To: Access the Import Function
To begin importing emails, start inside an existing conversation.
Steps:
- Go to the relevant conversation (e.g., Marketing Discussions).
- Click the More button at the bottom of the conversation timeline.
- Select Mail Apps from the dropdown menu.
- In the modal window titled “Add mails from any source,” proceed to choose your email provider.
Tips: Keep the import action tied to the right conversation. It ensures that historical context stays connected to the topic no more detached mail threads or missing references.
How-To: Select and Import Emails
Once the import window opens, you’ll see your connected email accounts.
Steps:
- Choose your mail source (e.g., Google, Microsoft 365, Outlook, or Company Mail).
- Review the list of emails displayed. Clariti shows only those not already part of this conversation.
- Select one or more emails by checking the boxes beside them.
- Click Add To Conversation.
Tips: Batch-select older emails that provide backstory or context. This makes onboarding new members easier and ensures no part of your communication history gets lost.
How-To: Build and Review Conversation History
After importing, Clariti integrates your selected emails directly into the ongoing discussion.
Steps:
- Return to the conversation timeline (e.g., Marketing Discussions).
- Scroll to view the newly added emails, arranged chronologically with other chats and files.
- Review them like any other message search, reference, or comment as needed.
Tips: Having past decisions and updates side-by-side with new ones helps your team see the “why” behind ongoing actions no more digging through inboxes to piece together history.
