How to Create a New Conversation in Clariti

Scattered communication makes it hard to see the full picture. Important updates live in separate chats or emails, making it difficult to track progress or decisions.

Clariti’s Hybrid Conversations fix that by letting you create a new, topic-based conversation from existing, unlinked items so related discussions and files live together, not apart.

Tutorial Overview

In this tutorial, you’ll learn how to:

  • Create a new conversation by grouping existing chats, mails, or feeds.
  • Name and manage topic-based conversations for clarity.
  • Merge unlinked communication into one contextual timeline.
  • Keep related discussions unified for faster recall and collaboration.

How-To: Select Items to Group

Choose which unlinked communications you want to bring together under one topic.

Steps:

  • Expand a category, e.g., Chats.
  • Select multiple subjects by checking their boxes (e.g., “Quick Sync Tomorrow”, “Marketing Discussions”).
  • Clariti will display a prompt: “Select 2 or more subjects you want to include in the new Conversation.”
  • Once selected, click “Proceed.”

Tips: Grouping multiple related items helps eliminate redundant threads and reconnects scattered ideas under one unified theme.

How-To: Name and Finalize the Conversation

Once you’ve selected your items, it’s time to name and confirm your new conversation.

Steps:

  • A dialog box appears prompting you to “Name the Conversation” (e.g., Marketing Activities).
  • Review the note: “If a Conversation already exists with the name entered, selected subjects will be added to it.”
  • Click Create (or Save) to finalize.
  • The new conversation now appears in your main list, containing all linked items.

Tips: Naming your conversation clearly (by project, campaign, or topic) makes future retrieval effortless. The merge feature also prevents duplication, keeping your workspace organized.

How-To: View the Merged Conversation

After creation, Clariti automatically unifies all selected items into a single timeline view.

Steps:

  • Go back to the Conversations list.
  • Open the new conversation you created.
