In Clariti, click on “Name -> Integrations”.
Click on “Add” button.
Click on Zapier and then click on “Connect with Zapier” button.
It will take you to Zapier site where you can Create a new Zapier account or login to your zapier account.
Once your login credentials is successful, this will take you to Zapier Invite screen and then click on “Accept Invite & Build Zap” button.
After the button is clicked, it will take your Zapier account. Then click on “Create Zap” button.
In the Trigger option, in the Search app text box, search for the app that you want (For example case, we are using GitHub app) and then select that app.
Then it will take you to a section named “Choose app & event” and in that section, you have to select the event trigger from the drop-down option.
Once the event trigger is selected (For example New Issue), then click on “Continue” button.
It will take you to the next section “Choose account” and in that section in the drop-down option, select the “Connect a new account” button and then connect to your GitHub account and then click on “Continue” button.
It will take you to the next section “Set up trigger” , in that section select the appropriate trigger options and then click on “Continue” button.
Click on “Test Trigger” button to test if the trigger has been properly created.
In the Action, in the Search app text box, search for “Clariti” app and then select it.
In the “Choose app & event” , select “Create Feed” event option from the drop-down and then click on “Continue” button.
It will take you to the next section “Choose account” and in that section in the drop-down option, select the Connect a new account button.
It will take you to the Clariti login screen and then enter your login credentials.
Once login is successful, it will take you to “Consent” screen and in that screen click on “Authorize” button to allow Zapier to send information to your Clariti app and it will redirect to Zapier, click on “Continue” button.
It will take you to the next section “Set up action”. In that section fill in the appropriate values for “Subject”, “Feedname”, “URL” and “Body”. Please note that for the value in “Body”, line items are required. Then click on “Continue” button.
It will take you to the next section “Test action” , and in that section, click on Test & continue button to test if the feeds are sent to the Clariti application.
Once the test is success, then click on “Publish Zap” button.
In the popup, select the “Publish & Turn on” button to publish and activate the newly created Zap.
Once Zap is published, then to test if the feed is received in Clariti, log into GitHub and then create a new Issue.
After sometime, in your Clariti application, green indicator will appear next to “Feeds” in the left hand side indicating that a new feed has appeared. Then click on “Feeds” , you can see the feed that is received from your Zap.
Then click on the new feed and you can see the full information of the feed that you have received from your Zap.
Congrats, you have successfully received the feed in Clariti.
